Why JobCue

A hosted platform built around the way client work actually runs.

JobCue connects the commercial, project and operational parts of a project-led business without forcing every organisation to buy or use the same set of specialist modules.

Built for adoption

Start with a dependable core. Add depth where it earns its place.

JobCue is designed to avoid two common extremes: a generic task tool that needs to be rebuilt around your business, and an oversized suite where every customer pays for the same complexity.

01

One client-to-delivery context

Clients, Jobs, Projects, Users, time, settings and Reporting & Business Intelligence share one foundation, so work does not need to be recreated every time it crosses a department.

02

Modular by design

CRM, Client Portal, Content Map & Approvals, resources, inventory, freelancers, recurring services, bookkeeping and support can be enabled independently.

03

Hosted, without hiding the practical questions

Security, access, file-storage choices and procurement questions deserve clear answers before a business moves operational data into any hosted service.

04

A realistic route away from the old system

Migration should be staged around the source data, active work and your team’s real operating processes — not treated as a one-click promise.

Your files, your choice

5GB is included. If you already have Microsoft 365 or Dropbox, you can keep using it.

The core JobCue package includes 5GB of managed storage at no additional charge. Where configured, your organisation can instead use its existing Microsoft 365 storage — including SharePoint/OneDrive environments where supported — or Dropbox as the persistent home for files.

  • Use the included 5GB when you want JobCue to manage the file payloads.
  • Or keep files in the Microsoft 365 or Dropbox environment your organisation already owns and trusts.
  • Avoid paying JobCue for extra managed capacity simply to duplicate storage you already purchase elsewhere.
  • External-provider payloads are not silently mirrored as a second persistent JobCue copy; JobCue retains only the references, metadata and lifecycle/audit information it needs to operate the workflow.

Work once, update once

Use operational evidence to remove repetitive status reporting.

JobCue automation is included because connected data should make the whole subscription easier to run. An authorised administrator describes the condition in plain English, selects the task or programme outcome and lets JobCue reconcile it as records change.

01

Choose a real event

Start with something meaningful, such as a client brief submission, approval, generated Job document or categorised supplier record.

02

Link the operational outcome

Identify the To Do or connected programme item that normally requires somebody to update it separately.

03

Keep exceptions possible

Complete, remove or override a task manually when the Job does not follow the organisation’s usual route.

04

Limit rules by entitlement

Only offer conditions supported by modules enabled for that tenant, keeping configuration focused and understandable.

Compare properly

The right system depends on where your operational complexity lives.

JobCue is not positioned as the automatic winner against every product. Our comparison pages explain where established rental, workforce, work-management and PSA platforms are strongest — and where JobCue’s broader modular model may fit better.
