Terms
The standard commercial and acceptable-use terms for the hosted JobCue service.
These terms describe the standard basis on which the hosted JobCue service is offered. Any separately signed order, data-processing agreement or written variation takes priority where it expressly conflicts with these standard terms.
1. The service
JobCue provides a hosted job and project management service with core capability and optional modules. Features, entitlements and storage depend on the subscription selected for the organisation. JobCue may improve or change the service while seeking to preserve the substance of paid functionality.
2. Accounts and authority
The person creating an organisation confirms that they are authorised to act for it and that the information supplied is accurate. Each User must use their own account, protect their credentials and follow the organisation’s permission and security requirements. Accounts must not be shared.
3. Trial, subscription and payment
A standard website signup receives the free-trial period stated on the signup page. No subscription invoice is raised on signup day. Unless cancelled before the free period ends, paid service begins and the first invoice is generated on the stated billing date. Referral or offer terms may provide a different free period. Current prices are shown before signup and exclude VAT or other applicable tax unless stated otherwise.
After the free period, the subscription continues on a one-month rolling basis. An authorised card may be charged for the first invoice as paid service begins and for later invoices according to the payment timing disclosed during authorisation. Failure to complete payment setup or pay an amount due may result in restricted access.
4. Changes and cancellation
An authorised organisation Owner may change eligible modules or request cancellation through the subscription controls provided. Cancellation during the free trial prevents the first subscription invoice. After paid service starts, cancellation normally takes effect at the next monthly renewal date; access continues for the period already billed unless suspension is required for misuse, security or non-payment.
5. Acceptable use
Users must not use JobCue unlawfully; attempt unauthorised access; interfere with security or availability; upload malicious code; misuse another person’s data; send unlawful or abusive communications; or use the service in a way that materially harms JobCue, its providers or other customers.
6. Customer data and files
The customer remains responsible for the accuracy, legality and permissions associated with information it enters or instructs JobCue to process. File storage may be JobCue-managed or connected to a supported customer-controlled Microsoft 365 or Dropbox environment. The customer is responsible for its external-storage account, licensing, access controls and provider relationship.
7. Privacy and confidentiality
Personal information is handled as described in the Privacy Policy and any applicable data-processing terms. Each party should protect confidential information received from the other and use it only for the service relationship, except where disclosure is authorised or legally required.
8. Availability, support and changes
JobCue aims to provide a reliable hosted service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, security work, provider failures and circumstances outside reasonable control may affect access. Support is provided through the channels made available for the account.
9. Intellectual property
JobCue and its licensors retain rights in the software, design, documentation and service. The customer retains rights in its own content and grants the permissions reasonably required to host, transmit, process, back up and display that content to provide JobCue.
10. Responsibility and liability
Each party remains responsible for loss caused by its breach of these terms or applicable law. JobCue is not responsible for decisions made from inaccurate customer data, customer-controlled integrations or storage, or indirect losses that could not reasonably have been anticipated. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Suspension and termination
Access may be suspended where reasonably necessary for security, unlawful use, material breach or overdue payment. On termination, data access and export arrangements are subject to the account status, storage model, applicable law and any separately agreed offboarding terms.
12. Governing law and contact
These standard terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales unless mandatory law requires otherwise. Questions can be sent to hello@jobcue.co.uk.
Important: if your organisation requires negotiated procurement, security, data-processing or service-level terms, agree those requirements in writing before subscribing.
